Six Flags America
Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro has teamed up with Coca-Cola to throw an amazing three-day 4th of July celebration! The event runs on July 1st, 2nd, and 4th. You can purchase a pass for Six Flags America with included admission to Hurricane Harbor to enjoy the park for the entire day with extended hours (Six Flags will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Hurricane Harbor will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.). Fireworks displays will take place on each of these nights beginning at 9:30 p.m. There will also be a Coca-Cola “Sounds of Summer” area with live entertainment, so there’s something for everyone!
Frederick’s 4th of July
Taking place on Bentz Street in Frederick, Maryland, Frederick’s 4th of July is a huge holiday celebration that is brought to citizens by Wawa. The festivities begin at noon and run all the way until sundown. There will be rides, various activities, and food available to all who attend. The fireworks display begins at dusk, and they will be launched from Parkway Elementary School. The best areas for viewing include the Fleming Avenue Swimming Pool Area, Frederick High School Lawn, and Carillon Area of Baker Park.
Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival
This festival in Middle Branch Waterfront, Baltimore, is free for everyone and features plenty of live entertainment, a children’s village, historical reenactments, arts and crafts, and more. Music lovers of all ages shouldn’t miss this amazing celebration that takes place on July 4th. The festival runs from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m., and the fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m.
Annapolis Fireworks Cruises
Take a Watermark boat down the Severn River and get an amazing view of the Annapolis fireworks display! Tickets are $80 for adults and $40 for children under 11. The cruise offers complimentary desserts and a full bar with both alcoholic and non-academic beverages available for purchase. There are still some seats available for the final cruise of the night that runs from 7:45 p.m. – 10:15 p.m.
Charles County Fair
The Charles County Fair is a time-honored tradition. On July 4th, the gates open at 3 p.m., and the whole family can enjoy a day of rides, games, live animals, and festival food before sitting down for the big fireworks display. Tickets are just $10 for anyone 11 and older, all younger children get in for free.
Baltimore 4th of July Celebration
The Baltimore Inner Harbor celebrations on July 4th will begin at 3 p.m. There will be a plethora of live entertainment, activities, and food to be had along the promenade, including a full program from the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra that will finish right as the fireworks begin at around 9:15 p.m. According to the event website, the best areas from which to view the fireworks display are “along the Inner Harbor promenade and surrounding areas, including Canton, Federal Hill, Fell’s Point, Harbor East, and Locust Point.”
